Welcome to my astronomy and cosmology page. The purpose of this page is to educate people on these topics and hopefully get them to understand them better. Try to understand some of Einstein's theories and you'll give yourself a headache. I dig deep into many cosmological terms and explain them to you in everyday language. I also love to talk with you, the people, about these cosmological theories and also love to hear from you. Please, if you have any questions, send them to me.

Please, if you have a good question you think I should use in my monthly polls send it in to me and I will consider posting it. I change the question around the first or second day of the new month. This month I chose to ask about Pluto since it has been in the news so much. Take the poll and let me know what you think.

DELAYED X-RAY SCOPE WILL MOVE TO LAUNCH SITE
NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory will be shipped on Thursday to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Software problems, testing difficulties and, most recently, flawed electronic circuit boards have postponed the launch repeatedly and another delay will be announced soon.

PLUTO WILL NOT GET NEW DESIGNATION
Pluto will not be getting a minor planet designation, the International Astronomical Union said today in a statement. The proposal had raised a storm of protest, partly due to inaccurate reports that Pluto was to lose its status as a planet.

GALILEO IN SAFE MODE AFTER EUROPA ENCOUNTER
NASA's Galileo spacecraft entered safing mode about four hours after yesterday's close approach to Europa, and one hour after its close approach to Jupiter.
